Late last year in 2006, Governor Bredesen announced his intentions to create a new, low impact state park south of Nashville in either Williamson, Maury, or Hickman counties.
Community leaders in Hickman county quickly formed a volunteer team to respond to the Governor's intentions. The group carefully examined the natural settings in the county, took many photograph as they collected many more, and sought the recommendations of others. The following is slightly edited version of the video production that the group presented to the Governor's office in January.
