Celebrating the Comforts of Home is the theme for our third Quilt Show.

The Show and Parking are FREE. This year’s show features sampler and appliqué quilts. The show will have many other patterns and designs from new and heirloom quilts with some that are battered and mended like new.   The 2008 Quilt Show expects approximately 200 quilts this year.  In two years 405 quilts have been displayed, documented, and published.

The book, Celebrating 200 Years of Stars, based on the 2007 quilt show,  is scheduled for release in mid-October.  Sample pages of the 236 page full-color book will be available for viewing at the show. The book contains color photographs of whole quilts, photographs of quilting detail, and portraits of many quilters with short biographies of over 100 quiltmakers.
