The Grinders Switch Hour™ is broadcast live from the Grinders Switch Center every Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. on KiX 96 FM. KiX 96 Morning Guy Mickey Bunn hosts the hour-long variety show. Mickey is a 15-year veteran of KiX 96 and was given the hosting duties of the show in late September 2008. The show was established in May 2004 and hosted by Music Veteran Charlie Garner. Charlie spent 30 years touring with Grand Ole Opry Legend Del Reeves. Charlie lost a long battle with brain cancer in September 2008. Mickey had produced the show working alongside Charlie for the first 4 years of the show and was named host at Charlie’s request. The show features local events and personalities, as well as live music performed by local celebrities.
