Haunted Courthouse Confirmed!

Centerville's town square is going to get downright spooky! Reputable sources say that the courthouse and West End Avenue will be haunted the evening of Wednesday, October 31.  While the doors will be locked for the public's safety, there definitely will be sounds of wailing, screaming, and ghostly chants coming from the upper level.

Hundreds Thousands Expected

Officials expect over 2,000 people to flood the town square and the vicinity down West End Avenue.  Confirmed reports indicate that the neighborhood will be full of people seeking the thrills of ghosts, witches, and other abnormal scares.  Rumors abound that the nearby funeral home is really haunted too!

 Treats

 Many of the local homeowners have stocked up on emergency supplies of candy to ward off the evil spirits.  Local non-profit vendors will be around to provide more nourishing food for parents and others starting at 4:00 P.M.  

Carriage Rides

For the third straight year, horse-drawn carriage rides will convey visitors around the neighborhood.  Local automobile traffic will be shut down around the town square and in the neighborhood down West End and Perry Street.
